This isn’t the album we were expecting to put out. There’s usually a degree of that with any DWLB album, but here’s the deal: we’d been working on an album in fits and starts since 2021, and we got stuck on it. Blame it on the times. Anyway, we decided to set it aside for the time being and record some improvised pieces to break the compositional logjam. A few months later, here we are with a whole new batch of jams!! It’s a little austere, but pretty lush sounding.

As for the one we set aside, well, it’s gonna be a stone thing and you’ll hear it soon enough!
